Fairy Tale: Take-Two

Okay Crew!

This is take-two.

Snow white, please, rehearse your lines

and wait until the sign this time.

Unfortunately, there is no lunch break.

Sorry princess, you will have to wait.

To be wed in the chapel,

you must eat a poisoned apple.

Which should not worry you, dear

The symptoms are not severe.

That is simply the prince’s cue

to go on and rescue you.

This is how the story must go

if you want the children to know

of you long past your death.

You look awfully pale, Snow white

I didn’t mean to cause a fright

I am sure he will come tonight

or perhaps the day after that?

In any case,

Please, stay in place

I can tell by your reaction

That your Ready...Set…ACTION!
