The Fairy Tale Truth

Once upon a time,

There was a young naive girl whose mother had died;

And a young "hero" prince who was looking for a bride. 

They would meet and see,

That true love could really be.

And as all fairy tales went, 

They lived happily ever after, 

In a land far from reality. 

 

Once upon a time, 

There was a brave and fearless woman who believed she could rule.

In a world that was ruthless and cruel and deemed her a fool.

A young man, who just wanted love and compassion

In a world that needed to fill social status with dispassion.

She would one day reign and cease all typical notions.

He would one day come across his love without potions.

These two will never meet,

But still lived a happily ever after,

With their aspirations and desires.
