Fairytales

To my dearest love,

I am a soul

thoroughly against clichés

and yet

your smile lights up the stars

your kiss makes the world fall away

our love feels like a mountain and an ocean and a hurricane and a sunrise

you make me whole

cliché

after cliché

but you've made me see

the fairytales we tell aren't out of desire

they're not fantasies or delusions

they're a mirror

for a reality I did not believe was possible

until you took my hand and showed me

so my dearest love,

thank you

for what I could have never found myself

Yours always,

Lila
