Faith

Though cracked,

never shattered

though shaken,

never broken

though tried by fire,

never burned

through adversity

never darkened

through hell

never lost

but something better to be made

Though cracked,

no not shattered

but a stronger material added in

though shaken

no, not broken

but a better form to be made

though tried with fire

no, not burned

but purified

A stronger trust

in our father and our savior

a brighter hope

in promised made

a more submissive

heart to give

A more pure life to live

Through trial and adversity

a stronger faith is made

Though faith be cracked

Is never shattered
