Faith

Because I love you…

There is a warm, tingling feeling.

I always feel it when you’re near.

It’s something about your eyes that’s appealing

But mine have tears.

When I break from anxiety

You don’t think I’m crazy,

When my judgement’s clouded

And my memory’s hazy.

You let me help you

When you know you’re in need.

You’re not full of yourself

Saying you’re too good for me.

When we are far apart

I know you won’t be lured by lust.

I feel your intentions

No matter what.

We know our value

And keep each other strong

We’ll have faith in our love

As the day is long.
