Faith

Everything seemed like it was okay,

Filling myself with empty promises,

but not knowing they were empty,

I went through life with no meaning,

coasting,

I needed an answer,

something to get me out of this hole,

I kept falling,

Deeper and deeper,

Until I starting climbing,

I decided to give this thing a try,

I pursued it hoping I would be okay,

I would stumble,

I would lose sight,

But there was something that kept me going,

I do not need empty promises,

the hole I was falling in was not worth my effort,

but that I was fully loved,

by Him
