faith

For so long

Anything I heard

I believed. I never

Thought about the truth,

Happy to just keep on going.

From infant to child,

A word uttered

It was always

The thing to do.

However as I grew older, I learned about

Faith.

A thing now very

Important to me.

The word that guides my life today

Has become what grounds me.

Faith is choosing to believe what you cannot see.

And it is more than blind

It has taught me to believe in

Things other than myself.

How different my life would be without

FAITH.
