Faith

And yes, I have faith.

Is that really so bad?

Are you really going to criticize me,

because you’re jealous of something you never had?

And yes, I do care.

About every stupid thing.

I must live in my dreams,

Where I ignorantly dance and sing.

Because you are always right.

And I am always wrong.

And why am I always so weak

When you are always so strong.

Why do I always come back

Even when I say I’m done

how come I can’t be alone

why does my life feel like a loaded gun?

Every time I return

You smile at me

you hadn’t worried at all

You knew I’d never be free

Maybe this time I’ll do it

maybe this time I’ll leave

Maybe this time I’ll be serious

Maybe… If I just believe

And yes, I’m lying to myself.

Because back to you I’ll crawl.

Why do I have so much faith in you?

You clearly have none in me at all.
