Faith

Faith finds her
unexpectedly
Most of her life
she lives alone
Inside herself
Tempation and
fear creep into
her twisted mind
Depression holds
the knife and sin
coils the spring
that will send
her miles from
hope if she lets
herself fall.
She needs it
near her, the
weapon in
hand. It makes
her feel worthy
of feeling and
life. She lives
so far from the
others who
don't quite
understand.
She just wants
to make it real
To reach out
and touch it
She ventures
on a road of
destruction.
Only in the
darkness
can she
see the
light.
