Faith

There is a sadness that we feel

When we learn that Santa's not real

This sense of loss feels quite the same

When we grow up and learn true pain

People lie and people kill

People die and yet I still

Believe there will be better days

Believe this sorrow will not stay

For I hold faith in one true love

Who sends me joy from up above

This faith I hold is what I need

It brings me hope and helps me see

That the bad days will not remain

That there'll be rainbows after rain

Even in dangerous seas

My heart can always be at ease

For with my faith I always know

My God will never let me go

His love is with me everyday

My caring God is here to stay

His constant love and grace I feel

It's nice to believe in something real
