Faith That Moves
Can you imagine a place deserted and alone
You reach out to the emptiness searching for your home
With no shoes on your feet you feel the coarseness of the sand
you look down to see that your stuck there on the land.
Crying out you run through the brush and the trees
Filled with stress and anxiety you trip and fall to your knees.
Tears dampen your face, you hide in your hands
you look up and realize that your stuck there on the land.
There is nobody there, there is no living being
There is no opportunity or option of you leaving
The sun starts falling and you catch a chill
You start to wonder if there is a will
to find a way to keep on going
To get back up without knowing
whether or not you'll make it through
to reach home over the massive blue.
You sit there and stare at the sky,
the trees around you start to ask you why
you stand up and know right then
that this will not be and can not be your end
you gather your courage before it is too late
and you open your eyes because of your faith.
