The Faithful Never Fall

When did the ideology of maturing,

translate to petty recklessness?

Innocence; once viewed as a gift

hoped to be retained indefinitely;

now, is vilitionally discarded

amongst the rubbish of the world.

May you clench your standards

and raise them high.

They will soar as a forgotten flag.

in the midsst of a storm.

A corrupt mind; ignorant to mortality,

May ridicule the purity of a soul.

Will the endeavors of persucution cease?

What conciousness would irrupt

a boasting of personal transgressions?

Mockery; a fool's passageway to recovery.

Will they remain absent

from the vital realization?

The faithful never fall to their temptation.

Every day, hour, minute, second,

I strive to stay faithful.

If only everyone could aspire

to reach the higher pursuit

in which theyre oblivion

blinds their highest potential.
