Fake

I've been acting

my whole life.

Not knowing who I am,

just wanting everyone to be happy.

But, folks who know reality know

that that is nearly impossible.

Been sleeping all these years,

don't know if

I should be glad or not.

Woke up yesterday,

realized that happiness is a far-off dream.

Life is unfair.
