now when i think back to my aunts wedding ceremony

how i was complaining about the cake that tasted like

it was soaked in alcohol

i realize why you were unwilling to reveal your disgust
you hide your disapproval behind smiles and passivity
you don't care but you put up a front like you do
you hide behind questions to see if anyone has failed yet
because if no one has accomplished success like you have
then its not good enough
there is no exception why perfection can't be achieved
in your mind you can't understand why everyone doesn't just
act like you
why should everyone be the same as you
hiding behing smiles and a nonchalante attitude
when in fact you don't care and you don't approve
while you think other people value your opinion
we realize your true self and move on with our lives
while you are left behind in your stagnant state
unwilling to progress because you refuse to realize that you have to
you are perfect and no one can tell you different
but we all know that in your heart lies a disease
that can only be cured by the mercy of god
and once god decides to let you stay that way
there will never be any help for you
you will die in your grave alone with your frozen heart and soul
and when you are questioned as to why you didn't make a change
you will say that you did not know
and there will be voice that screams no
and says that you knew but you refused to change
you had so many resources but you didn't help others
you are cold and heartless and far from humanand the world is better off without you
