Fake Flowers

Wild old hearts and wild blonde hair

Spitting through this winter

Air.

The stinking smell of your musk

Fills this small house after

Dusk.

Waiting, staring at the clock

It's too damn cold for a

Walk.

You're her fifth one this year

Don't go thinking you're special

Dear.

Hope this is what you're proud of

Those fake flowers scream of

Love.
