fake people

Although every day we smile and wave

You don't notice how differently I behave.

I could be having the worst of days under a bright blue sky

But you would never even attempt to ask why

I may smile and pretend nothing is wrong

but a good friend knows my heart's song.

Don't just assume I am tired and that it will pass

that just makes the depression last

Yet if I'm quiet and not smiling, you act like I stopped breathing air

Then you do nothing but push for information that isn't there

You pretty much at failed at everything a friend should be

You were barely there for yourself, how could you ever be there for me?

I thought I would let you know

That it is time to let you go

I can't have a ghost for a friend

because that's basically what you are in the end

You always thought you knew me

And you told people what you thought I wanted to be

I never knew someone could claim to be a great friend

Yet the person they are claiming, they don't comprehend

it's a sad world when a stranger can tell how I am struggling

And you can't even see the tortured feelings I'm smuggling

Wow, aren't you so freaking awesome?

You always talk about some dude, and Shane Dawson

I don't really freaking care anymore

It's boring, like watching paint dry on the floor

I'm glad I realized how much you suck

Because otherwise you would have been causing my life to run amuck

If you know the real me but you're afraid to show it

Then that most definitely just blows it

If you can't be proud that we were friends

Maybe I'm glad this is how our friendship ends.
