Fake People

You feel as if the pain is too much

You think that if you wait one second longer

You might lose yourself entirely

But the truth is, I have been through my own share of pain

I have felt as if my chest has been ripped open

And my heart has been squeezed so tight

That I might not last another minute

The pain is one thing

But the people who have triggered the pain are a whole different story

I remember these people so clearly

These people who went out of their way to make my life

A living hell

Going to school everyday

To hear these people talk so much about me

None of it good

I learned that some people are fake

They act one way one minute

Then the next, they are following everybody else

Calling you all those names

That they promised they would never call you

But they lied... and lost your trust in the process
