Fake Tales of a Baseball Bat

I find a necessity to be

Polite and politically correct but

Who the hell got anywhere doing

That?

The real fun is in

Being who you are with the

Opinions you have and

Not actually caring what other people

Think.

That’s how I try to be,

Anyway.

Everyone is nice, and

Respectful, and not offensive but

Everyone is also

Boring.

I put work into

Who I am and the success I’ve

Achieved on and off the

Field, so why would I

Delicately go about life, trying

Desperately not to tread on

Someone else’s

Life?

I don’t believe in

Ruining the well-being of

Another for my own personal

Gain, but the competition is

Out there for my

Taking.

And that’s exactly what I plan to

Do.

Watch me.

Stop me.

I dare you.
