The Falcon and the Hare

The Falcon and the Hare By Lafonza Alston Jr Dedicated to the Harlan Football Team 2013 Daily, I wait for my chance, Patiently, I watch each player move to the ball from their stance, Eagerly, I wait for the chance to make my play at the break of dusk, Surely, My moves will leave the falcons in the dust, Swiftly, After practice those Falcons try to use moves from their playbook, Elusively, I escape yet again while they stand there and look, Playfully, At each other wondering why they dare, Pondering, Why the Falcons can’t catch the Hare.
