The Fall

A stalwart standing tall. That's all I am. I refuse to break or even bend, At least not when others take a fall. So I break alone. No single tear shed where others roam. I hide My fear, My pain. And take all blame for yours, I know not what others see. But I see weakness; Within Me. I absorb your pain, but don't give you mine. Where shall I draw the line? When I can no longer endure? Or when I can bear the mantle of Strength?
