Fall

Homemade apple pies,

Excellent football teams,

The sun is slow to rise,

A orangish-yellow color scheme.

Leaves litter the ground,

Crunch, crunch, crunch beneath your feet,

The colder air all around,

Such a break from the summer's sweltering heat.

School is back,

Fresh supplies and fresh brains,

All ready to carry around their nap sacks,

Anticipating all the knowledge they'll gain.

This is why I love the fall,

Winter, spring and summer cannot compare,

They don't bring the same things at all,

I just love that crisp autumn air.
