Fall

Somedays the only thing I can do is sleep

Food doesn’t even seem like an option

When I look at myself its not pretty

I feel too skinny

I am too short

Then I have these memories that haunt my dream

Leaving me scared with clouded eyes

He drilled a hole in my heart

My heart is beginning to break with all the damage

But eventually I will look around and see all the cords on the floor

And one thing will cross my mind

And the only picture in my mind is the sight of me hanging from the ceiling fan

Tears always asking to pour out of my eyes

And soon I’ll let them fall

Then I’ll fall.
