Fall
They say you’re not alone, but what if that’s what they want you to think?
What if that’s the pillow they throw so your head doesn’t hit the ground?
What if that’s all you want? Falling feels good because that is the truth.
The truth is who holds you when you fall?
What if you bring them with you?
People ask “Why do you push me away?”
The truth is i’m just keeping you from falling.Falling with me.
I care like how you care for me. That’s why I push away.
Secretly all I want is for you to grip on. I want you to hold me when I fall. I want you to pick me up.
When you fall I will always be there for you too. I need you to understand I promise I will fall.
Do you promise to catch me?
Even if you fall too…
