Fall

The sun shines an amber glow

And the cool air envelops the trees

The leaves shiver and wither

Skydiving towards the worn, crinkly ground.

The squirrels chatter

Eager to encounter the falling masses from the tall wood

And the birds swoop to their young

In preparation for the winter to come.

The world becomes a serene setting

Where autumn becomes the rest amidst obstinate heat and unruly flurries

Permitting tranquility,

And bliss.
