The Fall
Put your pain in the pen, let it out on the page and through your words let me feel the rage, sorrow, despair, emotions so raw and rare, they gnaw and tear at my soul's lair, awakened by your distress, moved to action trying to make it less, empress impress the lainguish inside on me, use my heart as a retreat I beseech, I preach of me to trust but you weigh my words like a grain of dust, something that once wouldve meant everything now only disgusts, because he thrust you from cloud nine and I wasnt there in time, to stop this heart crime, since all you do now is cry, and my love cant even dry these river tears, whose continued crash from a cataract, are just the side effects of a heart attack, and I need you to fight back, since to it I am already attached, and if you fall then both of our hearts will collapse.
