Fall Apart

I fell but I am not shattered,

I am whole but there’s a crack in me slowly growing wider.

My love, I wait for you

But how much pain should I endure before you find me?

I tell myself I don’t need love,

I don’t need a companion,

I’ve got myself and that is enough

But I can’t end these late night thoughts,

These murderous thoughts that stab my heart and butcher my brain

These thoughts that make me fall apart,

Like a glass tipped over the counter,

Shattering into millions of pieces when it hits the ground.

But I cannot be this glass,

No,

I am so much stronger than a glass

Tip me over and I will not shatter

Instead I will grow bigger and stronger

I will comeback to life

And be much better.
