Fall Feelings

Fall Feelings

Crunch, crunch through the brush

leaves fall from trees so tall

Apple pies, the smells of lunch

These are all the sounds of fall

Pecan, and walnut, cherries too

Come in the door and feel the warmth

Cranberries, turkey, and stuffing soon.

Eyes all bulging at pies galore

The noise of family, the sound of kids

Cannot stand unbearable pitch

The holy prayer of thanks we give

Then we devour every dish

With bellies full and wine all gone

We thank the lord for all gone past

Satisfaction to the bones

We want to make this feeling last
