To Fall Hard
To fall hard in love can take a toll.
It can tear your heart, and hurt your soul.
We look for the good in others, even at their worst.
And what we see as normal, others see as cursed.
Without communication, you're a puppet on a string.
That makes losing the person have even more of a sting.
You must put yourself before others, even when love masks it all.
Because when they lose you they'll be falling short, and you'll be standing tall.
