fall in love with existing

I ride my longboard down an empty road

I have empty thoughts that remind me of the sunset

the grass has the scent of pine

the sun reflects off the trees

my dress flows from the breeze

my shoes smell of tires so I don't skid

I try not to trip as I swere around the corner

sometimes life is just me and existing

existing is what I've fallen in love.

I never knew I could fall in love with existing until you left.
