Fallacy (Once, I believed)

Once in my life, I believed that the black man was God and that I was against the odds or as most said the odds were against me.
Once, I believed that a man of lighter complexion was my enemy and full of deception and had every intention of seeing me dead or in a facility of correction.
Once, I believed that a long stare meant a man was racist.
Once, I believed that if a man didn’t say hello to me they hated me and thought my skin was infected as if I was a man with leprosy.
Once, I believed that every white man that saw me walking called me in his mind a nigger or a darky.
Once, I believed my intelligence was considered stupid or lower class education by a class that was all white.
Once, I believed and experienced being called a nigger and thought that beating that person to the ground was the correct way to defend my race.
Once, I believed that all men weren't created equal.
Once, I believed that being president was only for a white man.
Once, I believed I was a nigger.
Once, I believed I was going to be killer.
Once, I believed I was going to end up dead.
Once, I believed women were objects to use and not people too.
Once, I believed that being skilled with a ball was my greatest accomplishment.
Once, I believed my life didn’t have value.
Once, I believed many things but now I see they were just misbeliefs.
Once, I believed these fallacies as a young black man in land that was called land of the free and home of the brave but yet in my mind I was mentally a slave.
Grateful to say, I believe in Jesus Christ in today and forever.
What do you believe????

S.O.L. PURPOSE

Every one on this planet has something to say and do, whether it be shooting a ball or making a speech. Everyone has something to say, but it would be pointless to say something if there is not a purpose behind the words. Here I am, a son of the living God speaking what He had to say and what I have to say. I don't speak or do things on my own so know there is meaning in and behind these words. My name is S.O.L Purpose because I speak with a purpose.
