Fallen

We are the fallen
The ones damned to eternity
Been beaten down by words and clubs and things
The hated and disowned again
Our past lives lived without modernity
Feeling as if we lived with golden wings

Always getting the short end of the stick
Never wanting to give in quick
No regrets if we ever lose-
Of cheating we never accuse.
Happiness was ours to stay
But then they tried to take it away

We must never look poorly upon those we love
And to always cherish what they have given
When thrown down we must rise above
And find a reason to keep on livin'
Because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel you're in
This is where your life truly does begin

We are the fallen
And we are prepared to go through this again
