Fallen

An angel came to me

He whispered in my ear

Promises of greatness

And fame beyond compare

He tried to turn me

To make me into a monster

He tried to break me

With whispered lies and impossible promises

He took my hand and showed me the world

Promised that I would rule it all

But dropped me when I refused

He left me for dead in a world that hated me

But it was you who saved me

You who kept my will strong

You who lifted me when he dropped me

And you who guided me home

You are the one who saved me

Who stopped me from becoming one of the Fallen
