Fallen

Fear, wells up inside of me,

I can not escape my fate,

Darkness clouds my thoughts, I can only go so far,

I lie down in my own emptiness, waiting for someone or something that will not come,

Hope is just another word for false beliefs and I know that much,

I see nothing but my own turmoil and despair

I have Fallen and I can not get up
