A fallen angel With a broken wing Still, she manages Somehow to sing Though her song is sweet It's full of sorrow Wasted yesterdays With a promise for tomorrow She fell for love A thing thought lost Her golden halo Her beautiful wings were the cost If you listen close To her moving song To never have fallen Would have been the worst
