Fallen Angel

No one knew

How the broken angel flew

As a child

Young and wild

An innocent bloom

Until came the man of doom

Victimized and torn

A fallen angel born

Scared and afraid

The child now enslaved

Beloved mother had no clue

Of the evil spread beyond her view

Until courage beamed

Though the little girl it seemed

Words fall heard on mothers' heart

Now the sinnermans world falls apart

Years pass and the angel grows

And no one knows

How she did it

But the pain lies behind her strong spirt

She only looks back to see how far she came

Because she knew he'd never touch her again

No one knew

How the broken angel flew

Perhaps she wasn’t broken
