Fallen Heart

It was the day I met him

wehn my life went south

it felt like a dating sim

more fluent than any mouth.

We talked for hours

and have a lot in common

like how we both take long showers

and our hatred of lawman.

I invited him over to hang

I was in heavy in love

but when the doorbell rang

I guess it wasn't true love.

He and his wife were at my door

The one I never knew he had

And from that day forward I swore

not to quickly fall in love

and I'm glad I did.
