A Fallen Mockingbird

I happened upon a fallen mockingbird

Young, broken winged, and ruffled feathers.

A picture of innocece it looked,

Flailing like it was.

So I took it.

Its temporary home, a shoe box in my living room.

As it healed, it grew,

Transforming into grace.

Now, its free,

Soring on the winds of change.

A beautiful change from the time,

I happened upon a fallen mockingbird.
