The Fallen Paradise
I've once dreamed for a sweet haven
Peaceful and secure in summer or spring
GOD granted me the place and a man
A man that I thought would never run
We were happy together
Have thought of keeping ourselves forever
Until one day he's gone
Must had have found another one
What is it to be loving,
Why did he leave me hanging?
What is it to be serious,
Why is everyone so furious?
Now I know.
Broken windows, broken walls,
Fading shadows from below.
Why can't I get in the meadow,
Is it because I've flown so low?
I kept seeing you from a distance
Smiling widely like you've never had
While I'm here, alone and forgotten
I have nothing else, but this little spring paradise,
Slowly fading and fallen.
