Falling

The room is spinning

I stumble, hitting my head on the doorframe.

I fall to the ground, the room tilting overwhelmingly

I look down at my hands, their outlines blurring, slowly losing shape.

I am a scattered mess of broken shards

My pieces scatter in the wind

The walls around me melt into the floor

It's all an indifferent screen of white

Except for me.

I am falling into this twisted mess of grey and white

Tears prick my eyes, but it's no use

They fall from my cracked eyes into the void of nothing

But far away, a speck in the devoid scene,

The shards of my heart reside
