Falling

It started out slowly but then happened all at once.

I never thought this would happen to me.

I have to keep on asking my heart

If it’s true.

I keep on thinking that it’s lying to me.

Or maybe I’m just lying to myself.

It’s the stars in the sky

And the dew on morning grass.

It’s sea kissing the shore.

It’s the spark that escapes from a fire.

It’s a Friday night party

And Saturday morning cartoons.

It’s the crickets that sing you to sleep.

It’s the Sun’s rays that wake you up.

It’s holding your hand

And walking in the park with you.

It’s watching movies while in your arms

It’s waking up next to you.

It’s you.

It’s you.

It’s you.

It’s you.

It started out slowly but then happened all at once.

I never thought this would happen to me.

I never though I could ever be in love

With you.
