Falling

Sleep came rushing in

like a brother barging into the house

throwing open the doors and

screaming to the rafters

that the War is over.

 

Exhausted like the

headline in the Extra,

capital letters saying the

boys are coming home at

last, we've won, it's 

over; it's over.
