A Falling Daffodil

A falling daffodil

Leaning,

Screaming,

Dreaming.

Giving off radiance from its resilience.

Shining,

Blinding,

Posing, but never closing

Its petals

When pierced by metals.

Waiting for the moon to sink and the sun to wink

A mello hello.

The stars to crave

A brave soul

Made from yellow charcoal.

A falling daffodil

Blinking in the sinking

Fight against the quiet night.

Wishing,

Flourishing,

Missing the nourishing touch of pure trust.

Maybe that's too much for a falling daffodil.

Leaning,

Screaming,

Dreaming.

Giving off radiance from its resilience.

Shining,

Blinding,

Posing, but never closing

Its petals

When pierced by metals...
