Falling But Never Giving Up

I’m running, pacing, a leaf is dropping.

Falling, descending down on the street.

People all around, where can I find my peace?

Soaking to the ground and feeling weak.

But I get up, tired to the peak

I motivate myself to finish.

Almost reaching the line, but I have been hit.

And then falling again, I have experienced pain

This time I get up without hesitation.

My head spins like a rotation.

The sky is gloomy. A voice says get up.

I see people all round cheering on me.

I feel loose and free and sprint to the finish line.

I reached,

I’ve done it,

I'm officially free!

Loose as a bird in the sky;

I’m happy, relieved, I’ve accomplished liberty.
