Falling Slowly
We all fall
Some people
Break so easily;
Porcelain china dolls
Too delicate to handle.
Some become
Rough and
Thick
Because they
Grow scar
Tissue;
To hide the
Pain and the
Losses they
Suffered from
Which it comes.
We may crack
Or falter
Or tumble down
Into the rabbit hole
But it is a
Necessary
Step into seeing
Ourselves for who
We really are
And who we wish
To be.
Living fully comes
At a great price
Yet it could
Be worth this
Pain
