False Hope


I live for dreams

just out of reach.

resting my head each night,

demanding that 

tomorrow brings

Fufillment.

 

a blue jay

with clipped wings

scowers the earth

for a morsel of hope

that its wings 

will be granted 

Liberty

once more.
