False hope

we run from the presence of something we feel to fight for...why?

like running from light into the darkness, wondering why we cant see...

unconsciousley hiding the truth from ourselves

we know the ending inside our mind, yet we still call out to God for a sign

turning our heads at every red flag until we wait to see only what we desire...

do we even want this...

the unexplanitory

wishig the did could be undone

impossibilities

purposely causing more damage than the beginning ever created

of denial to accept truth

knowing each time the it gets worse..

knowing each time every route comes to the same ending

justifying all actions in order to have a drop of hope for a different ending

why do we hold on this false hope?

could it be the fear of new beginnings, loneliness, failure... happiness?

what is so blinding we cant see but only feel the pain we are holding on to

killing our soul for a lost memory

never to be lived in the present or future...

only to be lived in the past...

we hold on

we run

false hope of a new begining
