False Light

There’s a darkness in his face hidden behind false light. He has fooled the world with his devilish charm and satanic wit. He is a long way from the house of the altruists and so close to those who use helpless souls for selfish gain. He has fooled the world, but he has not fooled me. I refuse to fall into his pit of lies. And I refuse to watch others cascade into his darkness. He appears to be the light, but I can see through it. I can see he is nothing but emptiness. A dark and lost soul incapable of returning to the light. A light I have begun to believe never even existed.
