False Prophet

Lavish lies conceal flattering false prophets Under a guise that is layers deep A ritualistic routine of self masocation Of emotional measures physicality intact Progressing and digressing Warnings clearly labeled Flattering false prophets a heart now disabled Still pumping blood none the less False prophet why have I befriended thee? An idiot of my own creation Stress by hiding to please Now a sole obligation False Prophet once humble and like minded now blossomed and pompous Yet I linger like a bittersweet scent No longer expecting gratification I now know False Prophet I am a friend just for show nothing more occasionally less False Prophet please know I tried my best Now heart and mind under stress No longer able to communicate
