Falsify


The false smile that pleases all… …except for people who produce it. An intense urge to soothe the naysayers… …those who never bother to return that favor. Speaking slowly, speaking softly… …convincing those that no shadow, no doubt… …lies behind the words you hold so dearly. Lies come so easily to those who choose to believe them. Denial, hatred, pick your poison. Cynicism flows through those who are weak and those who are strong. True emotions do not discriminate… …though false emotions do.
