The Familiar Beat

That familiar tune of twist and shout,

A familiar beat that I cant live without.

When the time comes and I've lost everything

The one thing I need more than anything

Is that familiar beat  of the drum

The rum pum pum pum.

My sanity remains only with this,

the simple familiar beat

That lets me move my feet.

When nothing is left except that treat

At least I will have that familar beat.
